How long does enrollment take?
The enrollment process typically takes a few days from form submission to confirmation. After you submit the form, our admissions team reviews your student's information, collects the required documents, and confirms eligibility. Once everything is in order, we'll confirm your student's start date. Our team moves quickly — there's no lengthy waiting period standing between your student and their diploma.
Can my student enroll mid-year or mid-semester?
Yes. City View High School accepts students throughout the school year — you do not need to wait for a new semester to begin. Our admissions team will review your student's existing transcripts and credits and build an enrollment plan that gets them started as quickly as possible. The sooner they start, the sooner they're working toward graduation.
Which program should my student enroll in — in-person or online?
City View High School (in-person) is designed for students ages 13–21 who benefit from a structured campus environment, smaller classes, and daily face-to-face teacher support in Phoenix, AZ. City View NOW (online) is designed for Arizona students ages 16–21 who need a flexible, fully online schedule to balance school with work or other life responsibilities. Not sure which is right? What documents do I need to enroll?
To complete enrollment, families typically provide proof of residency, proof of identity and age, transcripts from previous schools, immunization records, and a withdrawal form from the student's current school. Some documents may be submitted after the enrollment process begins — our team will help guide you if anything is missing and make sure paperwork doesn't stand in the way of getting your student started.
Is City View High School really tuition-free?
Yes — completely. City View High School, including the City View NOW online program, is a tuition-free public charter high school authorized by the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools. Any Arizona resident student who meets eligibility requirements can enroll at no cost to their family.
Can my student recover credits and still graduate on time?
Yes. Credit recovery is one of the core strengths of both City View programs. Students can earn up to 8 credits per year toward their high school diploma or high school degree — compared to 6 at most traditional schools. Your student's academic advisor will review their transcript, identify exactly which credits they still need, and map out the most direct path to graduation.
